Why we give
God is so good and so giving that He gave greatly for us (John 3:16). He desires us to be good and giving as well (Luke 6:38). What we do with what God has given us demonstrates to God and the world our hearts and helps us to proclaim the gospel to the world (James 1:17; 2 Corinthians 9:7; Luke 12:34). We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances (1 Corinthians 10:31).
