The Greentown Baptist Church in Lake Township of Stark County, Ohio is a church plant from the First Baptist Church of Jackson in Jackson Township of Stark County, Ohio and was officially incorporated in November 2021. A building was purchased in Greentown, Ohio (the former Greentown First Church of the Nazarene) and in January 2022, renovations were made, and Greentown Baptist Church held their first official service on March 6, 2022 in their newly refurbished building.
Greentown Baptist Church began with a membership of 101 adults and 57 children who were officially commissioned and sent out from the First Baptist Church of Jackson on February 27, 2022 with Jay Baughman as the founding pastor.

We are so excited to plant a new Baptist church in Lake Township which has only one other Baptist church. We expect great things from God as we take this step of faith together attempting something great for Him.
